We are currently recruiting for a Graduate Developer/Analyst Programmer to join our client based in Reading. This is a great opportunity to join a team of Developers and take responsibility for the development and configuration functionality within software modules. Job Title: Graduate Developer/Analyst Programmer (.NET) Location: Reading Salary: £Competitive Working as the Analyst Programmer your role will be responsible for working as part of the project team lead by the Project Manager to ensure a high level of system quality is delivered in accordance with the agreed customer milestones and budget. Other duties include; - Work as part of a team led by the Project Management team in ensuring the development and delivery of web based applications in line with budget and timescales agreed with customers - Overall responsibility for the development testing in accordance with the agreed configuration specifications - Responsible for the development of customer work orders in accordance with Statement Of Works specifications - Following initial training and mentoring, work to gain a thorough technical understanding of the product suite - Ensure coding standards and quality assurance processes are adhered to and in accordance with the best practices - Ensure customers receive a high level of customer support in order to resolve system faults within defined SLA's - Responsible for ensuring that security procedures are followed at all times and that any non-compliance is reported - Contribute effectively to team meetings The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and will have experience with .NET development (VB or C#) and SQL development (preferably MS SQL Server). It is essential that you have knowledge of full software development lifecycle as well as strong communication skills both written and verbal. We are looking for self motivated, driven individuals who have a committed approach.
