This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Heating Gas Service Engineer to join a growing service, maintenance and installer of commercial heating systems based in Birmingham.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs to heating systems & equipment within buildings and plant rooms, service, breakdown and gas tightness testing of existing installations.

The role will suit someone who enjoys providing a quality service and excellent customer service to clients. You will be the face of the company and have excellent knowledge and understanding of Commercial heating systems as a minimum.

It is essential for applicant to be Gas Safe registeredOutstanding attitude towards customer care ensuring a courteous approach is adapted at all timesThe ability to provide guidance, support and any instruction for trainee Engineers who may work within your team when requiredParticular attention to detail whilst protecting clients’ propertyA flexible approach to working hoursKnowledge of Health & Safety procedures and all relevant Industry RegulationsA professional approach to work and be able to resolve problems quickly and efficiently, with the ability to adapt to situations and pro-actively work to achieve personal and company goalsMust have previous experience of a similar roleThe ability to carry out any other reasonable duties within the role, which may be allocated from time to timeFull driving license (with a maximum of 6 points)Experience in fault finding heating systems i.e. controls experience an advantageCurrent ACS Gas Qualifications - domestic and commercialSelf-motivated, organised approach and be able to manage modest paperwork volumes.The duties of the Commercial Heating Gas Service Engineer are:

The service, reactive maintenance and breakdown of Gas central heating systems in commercial properties to a high standard (conforming to Gas Safety Installation & Use Regulations.)Hours of work: Monday to Friday (with a reasonable amount of overtime and flexible working expected)
