My client is looking for a candidate to start in a Payroll and Accounts Assistant position immediately, which will then go permanent after 3 months.

I am recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing business in Abingdon for a temporary Payroll and Accounts Assistant

The company has grown in size over the past two years and are looking for a progressive individual to enter this position with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Description

As the Payroll and Accounts Assistant the role is split between both Payroll and Accounts responsibilities.

These will include:

* Inputting banking weekly figures

* Journal entries

* Bank reconciliations

* Petty cash

* Analysing the companies telephone bills

* Checking staff credit cards & inputting into SAGE 50

* Coding and entering invoices

* Monthly profit & loss

* VAT returns

* Checking employees hours

* Deducting tax and NI payments

* Processing holiday

* Expenses

* P45's

* Tax Forms

Profile

The chosen candidate must have Sage or Oracle experience - this is essential. They must also have experience of an Accounts Assistant position and payroll. As well as this they must have great interpersonal skills and be hardworking.

Job Offer

This is a fantastic Temp to Perm position for a Payroll and Accounts Assistant and the successful candidate will receive an hourly rate of £11-£15 per hour depending on their level of experience.
