We are currently recruiting for 2 Technical Support Engineer’s to join our growing team in Eastwood, Nottingham.

As Technical Support Engineer you will manage problems in hardware, software and Microlise equipment, the role will also provide critical internal support across the service areas and also lead on ensuring all relevant parties are fully aware and trained on our new developments and technologies.

Reporting to the Hardware Services Manager, the successful candidates main responsibilities will be to:

Act as technical authority on support/ service issues ,including developing strategy and approachManage the effective resolution of support issuesProvide an excellent internal and external customer experienceDevelop and grow service management functionRemain aware of new product developments and provide tactical direction on customer service and support challengesEnsure close liaison with internal functionsHave experience of Problem ManagementEssential Requirements:

Experience in a similar Technical Support role in a managed service environmentExperience of leading on and taking responsibility for unresolved issues or escalationsExperience of working with Microsoft SQLExperience of and conversant in Service Level Agreements and Operational SchedulesExcellent interpersonal/ communication skills and able to work closely with both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to juggle priorities to meet deadlines without cutting cornersExperience of developing a Technical Support functionWhy Microlise?
