Clark James insurance Recruitment have a fantastic and interesting new opportunity with an exciting and expanding mid Kent based Commercial Insurance broker. They are currently looking for a manager to look after this growing team so a tried and tested background of management within Insurance is essential

You will have overall responsibility for the team though you won't be responsible for P and L and the finance side of the office. The priority is to enhance and improve the overall performance and success of the business so the successful applicant will be an inspiring team leader able to get the best out of a small team.

Principal duties and key tasks:

You will manage the following areas though the role is up for discussion to fit around the successful individual to include:

- Renewals Team, ensuring retention levels, management of renewals list and auditing processes to ensure timelines are adhered to.
- Administration, distributing administrative tasks to the back office team and backlogs are controlled
- New Business Team, setting targets and monitoring performance
- Office Management, maintaining compliance with the FCA, identifying training needs, conducting regular team meetings, reporting of performance data.
- Commercial Management, attend meetings with Insurers and suppliers, deliver new products and processes and manage your own allocation of client cases across all departments.
