Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer

A Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer with the ability to undertake complex technical negotiations is required to work a permanent basis for our Defence client based in Stevenage.

Overview of the Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer role

This is an opportunity to work within the growing Airborne Systems Integration organisation to deliver integration of complex weapons onto fixed wing and rotary platforms for both UK and Export customers.

Key skills required for the Aircraft Systems Integration Engineer

  • Planning and delivery of a wide range of trials and tests associated with aircraft integration
  • Supporting Design Certification. Production of Design Verification Plans and Certificates of Design
  • experience in producing aircraft Interface Control Documents
  • Ideally an appropriate Engineering Degree or Masters (or equivalent) OR HNC/HND level (or equivalent).
  • Good verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Practical knowledge of basic systems engineering principles and processes.
  • Experience in the defence section in integration of systems onto fixed wing or rotary platforms

The role is based in Stevenage commutable from Luton, Bedfordshire, Watford, St Albans, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Peterborough, Ely, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Chelmsford, Essex with excellent access from North London.
