Responsibilities as our Head of Technical Marketing include: - Build Technical Marketing Function: Establish and deliver annual Technical Marketing plan comprising a mix of analytical reports, written technical reports, and presentations to various internal and external stakeholders - Market insight: Develop technical marketing collateral (using both statistical and qualitative techniques) to provide sales teams with insight, including: competitor analysis and market insight into saving, investments and retirement planning - Product positioning and marketing: Work with the product and marketing teams to develop how our products are positioned in the market. Also work with marketing, distribution and training to communicate that positioning effectively and to help enhance sales. - Training and Business Development Support: Provide technical training support to sales channels, and present as a technical specialist at intermediary events/meetings. - Public relations: Provide technical support and insight to guide the development of PR plans through the year - Thought leadership: Perform desktop research and perform analysis to develop written materials and white papers as well as delivering these at key industry conferences To become our Head of Technical Marketing, you will have the below skills and experience: Essential - Qualified Actuary, or equivalent - At least 5 years' work experience - Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills, and presentation ability - Strong analytical skills Desirable - Previous experience in marketing or product development - Relevant UK Investment, Savings, Pensions and/or Insurance experience - CFA, CII diploma or charter status - Masters level degree in relevant areas Working for Vitality as an experienced Head of Technical Marketing, you'll experience an exciting mix of creativity and innovation, within a framework of challenging objectives and a passion for delivering the best.
