Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Family Paralegal to join our client's expanding Sheffield based office. You will be joining a niche firm of solicitors that specialises in Family and Care cases. You will be joining a team with a reputation for excellence in its field, and your duties will include; * Opening and closing files * Assisting Fee Earners with case work * Attending meetings with clients to take instructions and obtain signatures * Preparing and progressing case files including completing legal documents * Screening and responding to incoming correspondence and emails * Maintaining time recording and costing records * Ensuring compliance with file management procedures For this role it is essential that you have either a Law Degree or the LPC with a Family Law elective and have experience working as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant in a legal aid family law environment. You should have a working knowledge of the SRA and LAA compliance standards, excellent prioritisation skills and the ability to communicate with clients at all levels.
