Nelson Chambers are currently recruiting for a Trainee Credit Controller to join our Client in Braintree.

This role is an integral part of the company being the central point of contact to liaise with all departments and customers to reduce the company's exposure to bad debt and control debtor days.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Collection of overdue accounts by all available methods in accordance with the company's credit control policy
- Reducing debtor days
- Reporting to the Financial Controller any unrecoverable bad debts or those debts that have fallen outside of our credit control policy
- Collecting outstanding retention and discounts
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve payment issues and to control exposure to potential bad debt
- Sending Monthly Statements
- Merging the new applications
- Monthly reconciliations
- Cash allocation Person Specification:

- At least 2 years administration experience
- Working experience with Microsoft office
- Must have an excellent telephone manner
- Experience with Sage Line 50 Preferred


Monday - Friday - 8:30 - 5:30

Full time ; Permanent

Salary Negotiable depending on experience
