Due to expansion of our consultancy team we are recruiting for a Healthcare Informatics Consultant. The Siemens Healthineers Transformation and Advisory team provide a diverse portfolio of consultancy services to our partner organisations. Healthcare Informatics Consultant will support the Head of Transformation and Advisory Services (T&A) in developing the our portfolio and to help grow the business in line with agreed targets. They will provide the team with advice on all aspects of healthcare informatics with expert level knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging with an expectation to expand the understanding to other diagnostic fields such as pathology. They will also lead on the implementation of Siemens systems and services when delivered through a transformation and advisory project. What are my responsibilities? - Supporting the design of our portfolio and assisting with the strategic continuous development. Supporting the positioning of the portfolio within the market - Work with the team on the Identification, acquisition and implementation of projects. - Providing mentoring and/or project management function - Being the key point of contact with a customer for all informatics issues - Representing Transformation and Advisory Services both externally and internally - Management & appropriate escalation of risks and opportunities for relevant project - Responsible for the detailed analysis of customer information and to present this information in a relevant and meaningful way for our customers - Maintaining an expert knowledge of healthcare and radiology informatics and to apply this to the clinical context of a project What do I need to qualify for the role? - Degree in, health economics, health informatics, economic sciences, medicine or an equivalent academic education, or; - Commensurate understanding and experience of healthcare delivery or development of healthcare software with demonstrable experience of understanding customer workflows and creating solutions to fit their needs. - Demonstrable expertise in Healthcare informatics with practical experience of improving services through the implementation of innovative IT systems. - Experience of successful engagement with NHS IT departments. - Ability to engage with a wide range of partners in order to give a meaningful context to data held in the relevant systems. - Ability to focus on detail with demonstrable analytical skills. - Be a "self starter" with the ability to identify, extract, analyse, interpret and present relevant data. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with problem solving capability. - Excellent organisational and presentation skills. - Experience of relational databases and writing queries to identify relevant information - Proficiency in standard business IT office systems and Advanced IT skills in business intelligence/information systems e.g. Qliksense We at Siemens Healthineers are committed to helping healthcare providers globally to succeed in today's dynamic environment.
