We have an exciting opportunity for a legal assistant to join our expanding legal team on a fixed term basis. As the legal Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the Legal Director and the wider legal team with the daily functioning of the department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands on experience within a dynamic in house legal team and expand your knowledge.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Serving as the initial point of contact for legal queries, and managing the legal mailbox and contracts database for the business.
Preparing and issuing contract packs for signature, monitoring progress and receiving executed contracts back into Legal.
Filing contracts and other legal documents appropriately, providing copies on request.
Raising purchase orders and paying invoices and ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.
Liaising with shareholders in order to maintain the group’s statutory books; answering queries; providing copies of documents.
Ad hoc administration as required, including: formatting documents; printing; managing post; organising meetings; making travel arrangements; and co-ordinating holiday requests.
What you’ll need to show us: Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
You are action orientated and able to work under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively prioritise work.
You are skilled at building strong relationship and you are a team player.
