We have a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer to join our growing Southern regional office. The role is split between site and the office and provides varied day to day duties and responsibilities. Role and Responsibilities of Senior Project Engineer: - Dealing with Section 38, 104 and 278 Agreements - Project Managing multiple Civil Engineering projects and using your experience solving any civil engineering problems - Undertaking desk based studies into roads and sewer infrastructure - Conducting site investigation works and inspections and providing commercial assessments, valuations and costing of works - Liaison with local Council and Water Company, along with Clients and 3rd Party Suppliers. - On site supervision/management of Civil Engineering works - Obtaining 'sign off of the works from the Adopting Authority and pursuing adoption certification from the various authorities - Reviewing tenders and works quotations - Managing junior staff and engineers - Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. - Delivery of key works under deadlines Essential Requirements: - Experienced in Project Management - Background and Understanding of Civil Engineering with Experience in Highways and Sewers - Residential House Building background (preferable) - Experience in dealing with S38, S278 and S104 - Safety Management - Supervision & management skills - Commercial Experience - Understanding of current industry trends - Excellent communication skills. - UK Driving License.
