Business Intelligence Systems Governance Consultant York Sheffield Job ID: R-55125 Full time The Role As the central MI team in UK Life, we are currently embarking on a new and exciting Business Intelligence (BI) strategy, working in conjunction with other UK businesses. We have a 12 months fixed term opportunity to join the team as a BI Systems Governance Consultant. Duties & Responsibilities - Oversee the control, configuration and administration of BI systems - Facilitate and monitor BAU Operational Risk Management across Business Intelligence teams - Provide analyst support to our technical debt reduction initiative. - Partnering with stakeholders across UK Life, including Business Cell leadership teams, CISO, Data Warehouse & other IT functions. - Managing relationships with software providers - Project manage small local governance initiatives - Provide governance and control expertise to all Business Intelligence teams, including change initiatives Skills & Experience required - Accuracy and attention to detail; - Strong organisational skills; - Ability to work to tight deadlines; - Ability to work within the Aviva "Project" framework including experience of Agile delivery methodology / approach; - Proven communication and interpersonal skills; - Requirements analysis, database design, specification and development of solutions, common project lifecycles. - Proven experience working in a data information capacity; - Strong understanding of UKL system interaction and data feeds. - Educated to A level standard or equivalent; Salary range: £22,000 - £32,000 plus excellent flexible benefits package.
