Carnival UK is looking for a Maritime Portfolio Co-ordinator to join the Continuous Improvement team at our Southampton Head Office. This is a pivotal role and a great opportunity to move into the project, programme and portfolio arena.

Within this role you will be responsible for bringing quality, consistency and control into the Maritime change arena. To be successful in this position you will need to be pro-active, tenacious and a lateral thinker.

As a Maritime Portfolio Coordinator you will manage the full CUK Maritime project Portfolio and drive the development of programme/project management and portfolio management capability with support from the department head.

Accountabilities will include:

Establishment and running of a regular governance forum to drive new and existing change projects, programmes and initiatives through formalised approval gates. A requirement to provide project office support to the exciting, key programmes and initiatives that will transform Maritime through the coming year, around a number of the key project management areas - including cost management, risk management, governance and assusrance, configuration management and integration management. This secondment will provide a broad understanding of the business structure of the full project lifecycle, the fundamentals of portfolio management, and transitioning project outputs into business outcomes.

About You:

In order to be successful in your application we will need you to have the following:

Degree educated (or equivalent) Formal PM training desirableHad experience of working as part of a Project and Programme Team in a project environment.Experience of team management.Understanding of developing and managing project documentation.High level of knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages (including Project, Powerpoint, Word and Excel).Strong communication skills.Skill at managing stakeholder groups.Prioritisation skills.Proven presentation ability.
