A growing UK bank is looking to expand their team with the addition of a RELATIONSHIP DIRECTOR who specialises in SME LENDING, covering ABL / Asset Financing & Commercial Mortgages. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining long term relationships with a portfolio of SME clients (turnover of £5 million+).

Duties to include:

- Generate new business and maintain established portfolio
- Reach all activity targets; Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external parties in order to achieve this
- Draft high quality credit papers for proposed transactions and carry out credit reviews on existing customers
- Regular contact with finance and mortgage brokers and finance advisors ensuring that valuations and reports are professional and comply with bank procedures; quickly follow on those that don't
- Act as an ambassador for the company by understanding and delivering the brand values

To be considered for this position, candidates must have several years' experience within the Business Lending space with excellent Credit skills and proven experience originating / cultivating new business relationships. ABFA Certification preferred.
