Medical Information - Consultant Position Summary of Role: This individual will be responsible for producing accurate scientific responses to questions relating to medicine, pharmaceuticals, and company products. Through the utilization of the company's available databases, the medical information consultant will search for relevant literature, simplify information, and construct documents for review. Job Duties and Responsibilities include and not limited to the following: - Execute on the retrieval of medical information related to various therapeutic areas to external and internal customers - Ensure that all activities are conducted within a legal and regulatory framework. - Complete literature searches and analyze scientific publications and corresponding data. - Create response documents, continuously edit and update response letter database. - Ensure projects are completed on schedule and in conjunction with established procedures. - Assist with ad-hoc Medical Affairs projects Qualifications Required Educational Background and Job-related Experience: - Pharm. D or PhD degree in a pharmaceutical science preferred, as well as 1-2 years of Medical Information experience preferred. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word and should be able to work cross-functionally.
