HR and Training Administrator Wadebridge, Cornwall Fixed Term contract - initially 6 months 37 hours per week £15,400 - £16,400 pa Jobline Staffing are working in partnership with CORMAC for the recruitment of 2 x HR Administrators based in Wadebridge, Cornwall. CORMAC is one of the region's largest companies and is involved in civil engineering, construction, quarrying, facilities management and care. The company is part of CORSERV Group which is a £200m+ turnover business. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide administrative support to the HR and Learning Training & Development Advisors - Securely maintain the HR files, including e-filing all paperwork received and maintaining a log system to record when requested/removed by managers - Maintain the 'library' of CORMAC role profiles and job evaluation related documentation - Assist in the co-ordination of all aspects of staff training with internal and external training providers, awarding bodies, sector skills councils and industry specific organisations. - Resolve queries from all staff and training providers relating to pre-requisite training or experience and eligibility as well as providing a central point of advice, guidance and subject matter expertise - Locate suitable training sites and co-ordinate correct plant, resources and welfare facilities and arrange travel arrangements in most cost effective way - Assist with the co-ordination of the Driver CPC provision to ensure that all drivers are licensed, competent, suitably trained for type and classification of the vehicle (in conjunction with the Learning & Development Facilitator) - Collate, edit and maintain all data in accordance with DPA and FoI policies - Provide support to other areas within CORMAC as requested through the HR and LTD Team. - Support the development of an integrated HR and LTD information management system for the business REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: - Educated to NVQ 2 level in business and administration or equivalent experience - GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics and English or equivalent experience. - Experience in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external. - Demonstrates sound experience of using Microsoft Office package. - Has basic knowledge of training systems and procedures. - Understanding of the Data Protection Act & the Freedom of Information Act - Good oral and written communication skills. - Experience of prioritising workloads, being proactive and able to problem solve, and meeting deadlines To discuss this role further please contact Jobline Staffing today.
