As part of continued growth we are now looking to recruit a Part time (15-20 hours per week) detail conscious Assistant Accountant to be based in Cannock, West Midlands.The roleThe Assistant Accountant’s primary focus is to provide support to and work alongside the Finance Business Partner & Management Accountant for both Durapipe UK & Philmac. This will include Sales & Margin (Contribution) Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting and overhead cost control. The role will form part of the Finance Team responsible for the production of the month end and year end Management & Statutory Accounts. It will involve using local ERP systems (AX2012 R3) & Excel spreadsheets to manipulate core data in order to present it in a readable form for management teams and other finance colleagues.Do you have what it takes?This role will require AAT qualification and preferably someone with experience gained within a similar accounting role and environment. Strong Excel skills are essential; any knowledge of AX2012 systems would be highly advantageous however other systems such as Sage will be satisfactory.Proactive, self-motivated and with a high level of initiative you will need to manage your time effectively to achieve important deadlines and deliver projects.
