Carnival UK are looking for a Maritime People Training Administrator for a 6 month contract to join the Maritime People Team at our Southampton Head Office.

You will be involved with Administration support for Cadets, SMarT Funding and the Learning Management System.

This role will require the Administrator to:

· Support the Carnival UK cadet program in terms of planning and delivering assessment days, administration of expenses, liaising with external agencies in regards cadet attendance at college, planning interviews and inductions and working with the Cadet Manager to meet requirements for external and internal audits.

· Liaising with the Deck & Technical Career Manager in support of officer career management. Supporting psychometric assessments and managing officer and cadet career records.

With the future training requirements of our crew from Ratings to Officer level the scope of this role may change over time and allow the individual to develop beyond the current job specification.

About You:

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

· Previous experience in an administration/support role.
· Excellent organisational skills in planning and prioritising work whilst maintaining an overview of team’s workload
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively by telephone, email or face to face with a confident approach
· Close attention to detail / focus on ‘getting it right first time’
· Confident in using Word and Excel.

Whilst this role is shore based at our Southampton HQ, there may be some travel to the ships if required.
