We are looking for a Data quality Analyst who is ready to be responsible for helping drive key data based initiatives that will generate significant benefits throughout the group businesses.

The role we’re recruiting for

This role is not just about data, it’s also about understanding the complex interplay between technology and business operations. We need someone who has a high level of analytical and system skills, but equally as important, the ability to understand the commercial impact of data quality. That someone will need to be able to proactively contribute to the formulation of data governance rules, processes and procedures that will generate significant benefits throughout the group.

We are looking for a technically competent, robust and results driven individual with the intellect and breadth of commercial vision to contribute to the overall success of the Travis Perkins Group.

As a passionate team player with a pragmatic approach, we are looking for someone who has the communication and influencing skills to quickly form close professional relationships throughout the business and to engage colleagues at all levels with your data quality initiatives.

Our next data quality analyst needs experience of producing effective business case strategies with a strategic and tactical approach with a proven ability to meet established deadlines. They need to have a passion for data quality with an understanding of Data Governance principles and methodologies. They need to demonstrate analytical, numerical and influencing skills, as well as top level commercial awareness.

We’re looking for someone with technical ability too. We would really like someone with the following technical skills:

A solid understanding and technical expertise in the use of data quality software tools

SQL Skills

Experience in ETL tools

An understanding of data structures and data profiling

Experience of delivering high quality reports.

Experience with Talend is also highly desirable.
