Process Technician - Semiconductors - Durham - IM239 Salary / benefits - Commensurate with experience Job Term: Permanent / Full Time Job Outline: Owing to continued growth, a leading developer of organic semiconductor materials, is now looking for a Process Technician to join their facility in County Durham. Providing support to the Engineering Department, you will be responsible for the fabrication and process development of O-TFT devices. Working in the Cleanroom environment, your main duties will include device fabrication processes such as chemical cleaning, plasma processing, spin and slit coating, metal deposition and sputtering. You will also be involved in inspection and measurement processes to support process control. Working with the Process Engineers, you will develop and document new fabrication processes. Working within a small team, in a start-up company you will be equally happy working within a team or individually. There may be occasional requirements for you to visit other sites within the UK. Qualifications: You should be qualified to at least NHC level in a Physical / Chemical Sciences, Electronics or a related subject. Experience: Previous experience working in a clean room is essential, as is experience of chemical handling. Experience in process development and semiconductor device characterisation is preferred. Ideally you will have gained experience in a manufacturing environment, although candidates who have worked in academic cleanrooms will be considered. Additional Information: Candidates MUST be eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Visa and Passport will be requested.
