About the role This role is all about developing a working understanding of key aspects of the regulatory environment in which the business operates and the resulting compliance risks associated with the business activities. You will support the development of compliance related policies and procedures including conducting relevant research and analysis of applicable rules/laws/regulations and their impact on policies. Furthermore, you will complete projects assigned by the UK Compliance management team when needed in a quality and timely manner, while maintaining a general knowledge of current internal control principles in relation to AML, Data Protection and Consumer Protection. This role has a duration of 12 months. What we're looking for You will ideally be degree educated or able to demonstrate relevant experience in a Business, Finance, Accounting or Legal setting. In addition, you will possess a general working understanding of business risk, internal control, compliance and audit, as well as being able to collaborate with others in a team environment. Finally, it is vital that you are proficient in all of the MS Office products. Speaking another language would be an advantage as well as having previous Internship experience in the financial services.
