Our client has been providing education and training to their learners for over 50 years. It is their mission to. Student satisfaction and students' success rates remain consistently high and provision of high quality pastoral support is something they take seriously. Within the role, you will teach on College programmes and in particular contribute to the teaching of Carpentry. You will deliver training and assessment activities to a range of learners on their full time and part time programmes, including on-site work based assessment. Monitoring learner progress and developing individual learning plans, you will take an active role in all aspects of student assessment and accreditation and take part in curriculum planning and product development as required in order, delivering the College's strategic objectives. You will also embed the development skills (English, Maths and IT) at Levels E3 to L2 and carry out assessment, evaluation and other administrative or workshop duties relating to the post. To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and have experience of working in a wide range of Carpentry and/or Construction environments. Able to work successfully as part of a team, you will have up to date knowledge of technologies within the construction industry and be able to provide effective support to students or other individuals. A teaching qualification is not essential however they do ask that you have a willingness to participate in staff development in order to achieve an appropriate qualification. They also require you to have experience of teaching and assessing Carpentry practices, whether that be in a teaching or learning environment or in the workplace.
