Keeping your finger on the pulse of our finance environment and profit and cost drivers, you'll take the lead with the management and control of finance operational activities. Our finance team plays a big part in the big decisions that shape our future and helps to drive change to improve our performance. We offer plenty of variety from accounts and cost control to supporting capital expenditure and providing governance and vital MI. There's never a dull moment. Supporting our Senior Finance Managers, you'll provide support to four key areas that include, Accounts Receivable, Online, Travel and Debt Chasing, The role is responsible for c12 colleagues which includes the ongoing management, development and appropriate succession planning. There will be a continual focus on process improvement and the role is expected to demonstrate progressive change. Key to this role is working in collaboration with our offshore finance operations team and it will be necessary to both monitor and drive change in these teams also. There is also a requirement to travel overseas at least once per year to our offshore partners. To make a success of this role you should have... - Knowledge of Order to Cash and its component parts - Retail Knowledge - Accounting Knowledge or experience is preferred. - Legal Knowledge or background is desirable - Travel Knowledge or background is desirable - Experience of workload management across a developing team - Proven ability to operate in a complex, fast paced environment. - Experience of Oracle, SAP or similar.
