An exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a dynamic forward-thinking company based in Rushden/Northants, specialising in Machinery breakdown repair and maintenance. Role: This newly created and important role is key to increasing our customer base and in turn help the company grow their business by searching for new clients initially within the Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire counties. As Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for; - researching potential clients. - arranging prospect meetings to a monthly target. - building Customer Database. - increasing Electrical Installation and Maintenance package sales. - scheduling follow up calls/meetings. - providing excellent customer service to clients. It is anticipated you will spend one day a week at the Head Office at Rushden with the remainder of the week visiting prospects and achieving sales growth. As this is a new role you will also have the opportunity to shape the Sales process for maximum efficiency on behalf of the business. To be successful in this role you will need to come from an industrial background, experience in recycling and print industries a distinct advantage, have knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance. This will be coupled with strong interpersonal skills and confidence in talking to people and selling the company. You may be experienced or recently new to sales from an engineer background. This varied role involves a high degree of organization and autonomy managing your time and workload efficiently to achieve your objectives.
