Purchase Ledger Administrator W R Davies Motor Group is an independent privately-owned group comprising of Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Citroen, DS, Renault & Dacia franchise dealerships. Set across North Wales, Staffordshire & Shropshire. Working as part of the Group Head Office personnel, based in Shrewsbury, you will be responsible for the management of the centralised purchasing and administration for the dealerships. A new post has arisen for an experienced purchase ledger administrator to join our newly established Head Office Accounting and Finance Function. Office hours Monday to Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-4, half hour lunch breaks As Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will be responsible for: - Processing invoices, including scanning and correct filing within digital content management system, ensuring invoices are input on time - Matching Invoices with Goods received and Purchase orders and liaising with other personnel in the event of queries. - Coding and inputting invoices, ensuring correct allocation to the respective nominal ledgers and company codes. - Check and reconcile supplier statements - File hard copy invoices and AP statements in correct order - Completing online banking and payment runs per month, notifying co authorizers - Completing intercompany payment runs - Responsibility for exception reports, error logs and liaison with dealership personnel in the event of queries. You should be proficient with IT ERP systems as well as Microsoft products, have a flexible working attitude and be an excellent communicator and trouble shooter.
