This multinational Pharmaceutical company is looking for an experienced GMP QA Specialist to come in and hit the ground running on a 6 month contract. The role is focused around the ICH-Q3D guidelines for elemental impurities, ensuring that risk for impurities is mitigated to ensure the integrity of the products manufactured on site. This full-time role is based at their manufacturing site in North Yorkshire. Role Responsibilities Working as a QA Specialist your main responsibilities will be: - Setting up controls for elemental impurities and developing a thorough risk assessment process. - Working with QC to analyse incoming raw materials, APIs and excipients to ensure that elemental impurities are avoided and/or dealt with. - Ensuring that risk assessment protocols are documented thoroughly. - Utilise quality tools and techniques to perform and document full root cause investigations, to evaluate and resolve quality issues, and to enhance continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a QA Specialist that has experience working with solid and liquid pharmaceutical products and in adept at the risk assessment writing process for elemental impurities. Skills Required - Bachelor's degree in science, pharmacy, biological science or related field is preferred. - Hands-on QC & Quality Assurance experience in pharmaceutical/ biotech industry. - ICH-Q3D guidelines for elemental impurities is essential - Strong understanding of cGMP requirements for both solid and liquid manufacturing. - Experience of implementing the risk assessment process and the overall follow up process such as vendor management etc. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work well in teams or independently and the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and compliance.
