Role and Responsibilities: As part of our Digital Marketing team, the Social Media Lead will manage the social media team, working alongside the Digital Marketing Leads and report in to the Head of Ecommerce: - Drive Footasylum's social media strategy working with the wider digital marketing and marketing teams to ensure a 360 approach to all activity - Develop exciting and engaging, original content ideas that are on brand and aimed at the Footasylum audience - Ability to identify and react to emerging social and viral trends and apply this to content creation - Work with social media assistants to ensure that all published social content in accurate, engaging and delivered in line with the overall marketing strategy - Build on the existing paid social activity to develop a targeted paid social strategy, optimising campaigns to improve efficiencies and elevate exposure - Liaise with the Footasylum content creation centre and creative directors to ensure sufficient, high quality photo / video assets for social - Work with Buying and Marketing teams to ensure content is produced to align with key product launches and campaigns - Consistently innovate, ensuring Footasylum are at the forefront of the latest social media developments and active on emerging social media platforms, including progressing our current shoppable Instagram tool - Drive social presence across all elements of digital, including email and web Your profile: - 2-3 years + experience in social media marketing or equivalent experience - Previous experience managing a small team is desirable - Extremely competent in paid social campaign structure and optimisation and confident working with and managing larger budgets with proven results - Proactive and passionate with a genuine desire to own the role and drive social activity to the next level, able to inspire creativity in people around them - Analytically minded with the ability to add insight to performance - experience working with Google Analytics and social media insights is key Desirable Experience: - The fast paced nature of the role would suit someone with agency background or someone looking for a challenge in the next step of their social media marketing career
