An interest in Call Analytics and Data would be advantageous but not critical. The Role ResponseTap prides itself on being cutting edge. Whether it's achieving cycle times in hours or the adoption of the AWS serverless stack or using test automation, the DevOps developer role is key to helping us to develop, test, deploy and monitor our applications using the latest techniques and tools. The DevOps developer role is a mixture of java development as well as building and maintaining the CI/CD pipeline (Go CD/Jenkins and Docker/Kubernetes) and all the systems/processes to maintain a true devops environment. Working within highly agile squads and the infrastructure teams you'll be the bridge to getting sprint based deliverables from development environments to production systems and guide the development/testing teams on how best to achieve a 'rock solid' CD environment with minimal cycle times. Must Have Skills: - Java 6 and above (+6 years) - Experience with operations or secure system administration(Unix/Linux)(+5 years) - First-hand experience working within Agile DevOps teams(+5 years) - Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines from scratch - Installing/Administering DevOPs tools (Jenkins,Go CD, GitHub, Docker,Puppet, Ansible, Chef,Maven/Gradle) - Extensive knowledge of the AWS stack: Kenesis, Lambda, RDS, Cloudwatch,S3 - In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following(Python, Ruby, Go, Javascript) - Experience delivering large-scale, data-driven web applications using SOA and Microservices - SQL & NoSql Databases Nice to Have Skills: - AWS certified(Development/Architect) - Experience of working within an Agile Development environment (Scrum/Lean) - Spring Framework and associated projects (Boot, Core, MVC etc) - Proven experience with building enterprise java web applications - Practical experience of unit/integration testing using TDD and BDD(Junit/gherkin) - Familiarity of information/network security detection tools, logging systems, network architecture, and threat intelligence - Salesforce development (Apex/VisualForce) Interactions: - Developers - Testers - Infrastructure Team - Head of Development - CTO Personal Attributes: - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Keen interest in technology and remaining up to date with latest developments/approaches - Systems thinking
