Join us as a Senior Asset Manager tomanage the activities of the UK's Vendor Referred Industrial business. This is an important and strategic role within the Asset Management function, as you will be responsible for supporting and developing the growth of the Industrial channel, across multiple channels and asset categories. You will need to be able to work alongside another Industry Asset Manager, as well as sales leaders and heads of functions in managing the daily operational activities regarding the Industrial portfolio. You will expected to work in conjunction with the Head of Valuations - Vendor Referred, in delivering thethe Industrial Asset Management strategy across multiple markets and asset categories. You will need a deep understanding of the Transportation, Construction and Machine Tool/Industrial sectors, which will enable you to manage all aspects of risk associated from new business generation to end of term disposal. You will need to have expert knowledge regarding how to value equipment from these core markets, either to value the equipment, set appropriate residual values, or to support the funding of new opportunities. Areas of Responsibility: - You will be expected to pro-actively manage the existing Industrial portfolio with a view to supporting the business maximising end of term income whilst maintaining strong customer relationships. - You will be required to operate within comprehensive Asset Management, Risk and Compliance guidelines. You will also be required to work in partnership with the central Asset Management team in Munich in terms of implementing global processes. - To effectively support and manage the operational business needs of the UK Industrial channels business, through organising, planning, and managing the daily activities with a view to mitigating risks and exploiting opportunities originating from the UK asset portfolio. - Contribute/undertake in market research across multiple asset/channel sectors in order to assess all aspects of risk associated with specific asset classes and their management throughout the lifecycle of the funding. Be able to implement these processes into the companies risk strategy and asset management guidelines - To develop and manage effective business relationships with internal departments, whereby Asset Management will deliver "best in class" service to their internal customers. - Support new and manage existing vendor and third party programmes with asset management expertise, providing appropriate support to the Sales Division. - To support, where applicable, the portfolio review process and initiatives with Sales, Risk Management and where appropriate external third parties to maximise identified opportunities/mitigate potential risks during the life of the lease - Provide monthly updates and quarterly review of portfolio performance and recommend appropriate changes in approach to the Head of Vendor Referred AM. - To work alongside the Data and Governance Leader to support in all relevant portfolio reviews, Residual Value matrix reviews, to make sure all processes are formally approved - To collaborate closely with Commercial Finance Asset Management in areas of equipment expertise, risk trends, to share local insights and seek best practice - To work alongside the Head of Remarketing and Disposals when required, regarding the effective management of all mid and end of term opportunities. Required experience: - Significant experience in an Asset Management role. - Experience of asset classes within Industrial sector and channels and markets which you will operate in - Experience in asset valuation and general knowledge of assets - Analysis skills, commercial agility, ability to evaluate risk and judge commercial aspects of business, - Strong leadership skillsand ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation - Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills. - Sound commercial judgment #Li-VH1 Siemens provides innovative solutions to help tackle the UK's major challenges.
