The MTC provides an unparalleled environment for the development and demonstration of new technologies on an industrial scale. Full Graduate rotation programme available for the `Class of 2018` graduating students. The Role This is an incredible opportunity to join the forefront of innovation, research and development for industry to help shape the world of tomorrow. The MTC is leading the UK research in several cutting edge developments all centred around the common goal of the improvement of existing manufacturing technologies towards the next generation of technology across several areas of industry and manufacturing; The Person We require Graduates in the following fields; Mechanical Design Additive Manufacture Electronics Robotics Connectivity Data and Information Manufacturing Simulation Automation Controls Software IT including Cyber Security Special Machine Design Augmented and Virtual Reality Laser Machining Construction Physics Maths Nuclear Material Science Space Management and Operations Graduates joining the facility will undertake a general or focused rotation across the research themes and areas in a structured manner supported by leading Training and Development Managers and Officers throughout your programme. Start date will be September 2018. You will be a recent graduate seeking to develop a career within a world-class manufacturing and engineering business and possess a minimum of an Upper Second Class (2:1) degree in one of the disciplines mentioned above. Any previous experience in industrial placements in a manufacturing environment are also highly desired, but not essential. Applications in the first instance are to be screened by Consilium Group who will then make arrangements for the short listed candidates to attend a 2 day full assessment centre in Coventry on site at the MTC. Dates for assessment days are; 20th October 17th November 23rd Feb 9th March 22nd March 6th April With a hotel stay over night required the night before.
