A vacancy has arisen in our Diabetes Sales team for an experienced secondary care representative reporting to the Field Sales Manager for area covering North West (Lancashire, Cumbria, West Yorkshire) About the Department In Diabetes Sales in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders, we educate our customers on our products and more importantly the disease area. We help them to make the right choices for their patients, building relationships based on mutual respect, honesty and ethicacy. The Job This is a insulin specialist care role for a fixed term of 12 months covering secondary care Lancashire, Cumbria and West Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will leave on territory. The purpose of the role is to generate product revenue and market share through the delivery of brand values in secondary care. You will be expected to establish and maintain Novo Nordisk as market leaders and preferred NHS partners throughout your territory. Specific responsibilities of this exciting and challenging role include selling, territory business planning and reporting, sales analysis, budget management, negotiating and key account management. You will be expected to develop networks and productive business relationships with prescribing and non-prescribing product influencers, monitor and contribute to a dynamic customer database and liaise with team members to facilitate the effective transfer of information and maximisation of revenue. Your target customers will include Hospital Consultants, Specialist Registrars, DSNs You will contribute to area business planning and the identification of national business opportunities. You will also participate in area meetings, national conferences and cross-functional project groups for Novo Nordisk. Qualifications The ideal candidate should be educated to graduate level or equivalent and must have passed the ABPI exam. You must be able to demonstrate proven sales success within the pharmaceutical industry and have experience of working in primary care. You must have a valid UK driving licence and be fluent in English.
