Sales Channel Manager £50-£60k plus EXCELLENT bonus and benefits THE ROLE We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on Sales Channel Manager to join our commercial team to oversee and grow our telesales function. This team handles the bulk of our high-volume trade customer acquisition, upgrades and renewals. Sales is a core focus for the business going forward, and we are looking for someone who can be an important leader in our organisation as this function grows in the coming years. As a top notch sales leader, we would empower you to motivate and engage your team to deliver expectional sales results, through both inbound and outbound sales activity. Sales and commercial management - Own the relationship with our third-party sales team, getting buy-in for approach with the senior manager at the agency and directly delivering through the team leaders in place - Deliver overall team's sales quota and ensure revenue goals are met - Responsible for end-to-end sales funnel activities, ensuring they are efficiently executed. This includes, but is not limited to: o Team coaching practices, including coaching for the team leads themselves and their deputies o Scripts o Sales processes, including workflow management in Salesforce (SFDC), dialler optimisation, click-to-call management, team structures, etc. o QA and training requirements, including onboarding of new staff o Optimising data sets, in collaboration with our Sales Operations Manager and the agency's reporting staff - Work with our CRM/Marketing/Sales Ops team to introduce conversion improvements - Collaborate with Sales Ops to identify main KPIs and ensure reporting cadence is in place - Ensure efficient transfers to other teams, when required, including: in-house sales team, customer service, retention, risk management, etc. People management - Continously coach individuals to improve sales and commercial skills and overall performance - Be the first point of escalation for team queries - Maintain our induction program and identify and develop ongoing training requirements, collaborating with other functions and our agency to create and deliver it efficiently - Ensure the sales team is informed of any relevant product changes - Ensure sales processes and tools are correctly applied to maximise sales efficiency - Identify and address the training and development needs for each team member
