Our client, designs and manufactures a range of medical devices and disposables which are used by healthcare professionals and consumers worldwide. Due to continued growth and investment in high-tech automation they now require experienced and self-motivated Maintenance Engineers for both day and night positions working either a Monday to Friday or Continental Shift pattern, to join their established team maintaining and improving OEE on a range of capital equipment. The successful Maintenance Engineers will be responsible for: - Effective reactive maintenance of various assembly and injection moulding equipment, as well as a complete range of ancillary equipment including robotics, packaging, printing and material handling - Performing PPM on the above equipment - Analysing performance and continous development of production processes and plant - Assisting in the installaltion of new equipment - Training and development of apprentices The Ideal Maintenance Engineers will have the following: - Proven competance in diagnosis of complex electrical and mechanical issues - Knowledge and experience of PLC controls with the ability to fault diagnose - Familiarity with injection moulding machinery ideal (though not crucial) - Completed a recognised apprenticeship and ideally be qualified to ONC/HNC level in electrical or mechanical engineering.
