Nelson Chambers are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant on behalf of our client. Working within an established Accounts team, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the AP department in an efficient, accurate and effective manner. This would suit someone with 2 years+ experience, looking for their next challenge with a forward thinking organisation who operate globally. Duties include but are not limited to: * Inputting purchase invoices * Inputting purchase invoices * Raising sales invoices * Purchase ledger statement reconciliations * Ensuring timely receipts from customers and chasing payments as required * Assisting in the monthly payment runs * Maintaining filing of sale and purchase invoices * Adhoc office duties including petty cash and expenses when necessary Person Specification: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Experience in a similar role Able to work under pressure with excellent prioritisation skills Word & Excel Details: Start Date: Immediate, but subject to successful candidates' notice period Location: Billericay, Essex Hours: 35hrs per week - 9AM-5PM Monday to Friday (1 hr lunch) Contract: Permanent, Full Time Salary: up to £20,000 p.a Benefits: 25 Days Annual leave (plus bank holidays), Healthcare and Pension.
