Foster and Cross has provided a professional, cost effective service to customers since it was established in 1918 and are still renowned for the provision of high quality workmanship to all makes & models of lifts and escalators across the UK. With a strong focus on performance and customer relationships their core values are Quality, Performance, Responsibility, Customer Care and Employee Opportunity. Foster and Cross is recruiting for an experienced Lift Engineer (NVQ3 or equivalent) to cover an area across Mid to North Scotland. You will ideally live in Dundee or Aberdeen, or as far South as Perth or Edinburgh. The maintenance route covers c100 units, with a night call rota (1:3), call-out and stand-by. You will need experience of maintaining / repairing or servicing a variety of lifts, demonstrating that you can apply lift engineering principles to maintenance and fault diagnosis. As a qualified Lift Engineer, you will need to demonstrate an excellent level of customer service and some experience of ordering parts would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced lift engineer who is looking to develop their career with a leading subsidiary business. We are interested in receiving applications from Service Lift Engineers, Installation Lift Engineers, Repair Lift Engineers, Modernisation Lift Engineers, Lead Engineers or Principle Engineers who have a valid Driving Licence and who live within commutable distance. We are committed to the continuing development of every employee; therefore we encourage and strongly support career progression, with opportunities for promotion within our organisation and throughout the wider UTC global group. Foster and Cross is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Please note that due to the high volume of responses that we receive for opportunities across the UK, we are unfortunately no longer able to respond to each application directly or to provide further individual feedback. We will however contact you should we select you to attend an interview. Should you not receive a reply from us within 4 weeks, please assume that your application on this occasion has proved unsuccessful.
