Healthcare IT Consultant - Radiology This prestigious company is one of the world's largest suppliers to the healthcare industry and a trendsetter in medical imaging, laboratory diagnostics, medical information technology and services. Due to expansion of the consultancy team the company are now looking for an enthusiastic healthcare informatics consultant to support the Transformation and Advisory Services team which aims to transform the way hospitals deliver care by offering consultancy services which will improve their workflow, clinical operations and financial outcomes. In this varied position you would provide the team with expert advice on all aspects of healthcare informatics - in particular radiology and diagnostic imaging (PACS, RIS etc). You would also expand your knowledge into other areas such as pathology and LIMS. You would help with the design and development of the team's portfolio and work alongside other team members to identify, acquire and implement new projects. You would also lead on the implementation of the company's systems and services as transformation and advisory contracts are won which would entail regular travel across the UK and occasionally Europe. To apply you will need a degree in radiography, radiology, health economics, health informatics, economic sciences, medicine or equivalent and have a comprehensive understanding of healthcare IT workflows, software and the solutions involved (PACS, RIS, LIMS etc). You will have practical experience of dealing with hospital IT departments and expertise in improving services through healthcare software solutions. This could be through working as a radiology manager within NHS Trusts.
