Working within a group of Recruitment Agencies, this role is a vital part of our operations team. Working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Operations, this is an opportunity to join an international and fast growing business and be right at the head of it; assisting in paving a smooth road for continued growth and success. As you develop in your role, your tasks will become more complex. In turn as the company grows so will your role; becoming more of a Financial Controlling position. We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated finance professional who can assist with a variety of accounting and financial related tasks. What will the role involve? - Tracking of sales and staff performance. Producing sales invoices, management of accounts receivable and collection duties. - Creating and maintaining accurate records and reports of accounts receivables. - Keepinganaccuraterecordsystemofclientcontractandinvoicingdetails. - Tracking of accounts payable, preparing payment runs; maintaining accurate and organized records. - Assisting in payroll activities. - General accounting duties such as: check deposits, journal entries, bank and credit card payments and reconciliations, etc. - Assisting the Directors and Heads of with research, administration, reporting and implementation of policies and procedures. - Conducting financial analysis to support business decisions and creating/communication and/or presenting reports of findings. - Analyze and prepare financial statements (profit-and-loss, balance sheets, cashflow). - Other ad hoc roles as assigned by the Director's and Head of Operations. What do we require? - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or other relevant field - 2 to 3 years of experience in financial operations and book keeping - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) - Excellent problem solving skills - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure; whilst working towards strict deadlines and on multiple/concurrent tasks & projects. - You must be self motivated with excellent time management skills. - Able to work in a self directed manner and easily adapt to change within a fast paced work environment and industry. - A lover of excel! This role calls for not only an advanced user of Microsoft excel but an advocate of it as well! - A 'no task is to big and no task is too small' attitude.
