I am currently representing one of the leading global Design & Consultancy firms, for natural and built assets. As a business they operate in 70 countries offering design, consultancy, engineering, project and management services. They are currently looking to add to their existing high calibre team based in Cambridge, with a career minded, technically advanced and commercially aware Senior/ Principal Engineer who has both design and supervision ability. Position: Senior/ Principal Engineer Location: Cambridge Salary: £45k - £55k (dependant on experience) They are looking for someone to take a leading role in the delivery of development related infrastructure including surface water, foul water, highways and utilities design holding a key role within the Land Development and Building Structures team, providing expert technical advice. Requirements: - A degree or equivalent qualification, preferably Incorporated or Chartered. - Land development infrastructure background (surface water, foul water drainage, highway and utility design) - Experienced in NEC contract supervision (NEC Supervisor or Assistant PM) including D&B works control and applying standards with the ability to resolve technical issues - Strong experience in Civils 3D & skilled in use of Microdrainage - Strong design management, team leadership / mentoring and client relationship skills - Knowledge of Navisworks and Revit in context of development infrastructure design - knowledge of, or exposure to managing the commercial aspects of projects - You would be expected to have previous experience in the control and supervision of aspects of a project If you feel you fit the criteria or are interested in other opportunities please get in touch.
