You will be working for... The Education Company Ltd is an established and successful technology company based in Rochester. Our client base includes most of the major educational publishers, charities and corporate bodies who promote their products and services to the education sector, including Comic Relief, WWF, Oxford University Press, Pearson Education, BP, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Granada Learning and Apple. Key Responsibilities: - Testing of bespoke software and systems - Testing websites and web services - Ensuring testing processes are followed by all - Writing test scripts - Writing automated tests Required Skills: Ideal Skills needed - Some knowledge of SQL, .Net, C#. CSS, and Winforms to assist with automated test writing and investigating issues - Excellent English skills - Good customer service skills - Organisational skills to follow procedures and complete tasks within given time frames - Ability to communicate technical information - Enthusiasm to learn and progress - A good communicator both with internal staff and clients Personal qualities - Good communication skills - A strong passion for IT - The ability to use your own initiative - Ability to work in and learn from a team - Confident - Good time keeping skills - Working within deadlines - Prioritizing work load Benefits & Rewards: Large company that has had unprecedented growth since its inception and is involved in many different sectors within the education industry.
