Our Product function is the melting pot of commercial strategy, data and creative. Working across Category, Trading, Creative and Operations, they get under the skin of customer expectation to develop product strategy. Effortlessly combining emotion and creativity with data and insight to continuously improve, innovate and maximise product and profitability.

We’re looking for 2 people to join our newly structured team, with a permanent opportunity and a maternity cover. Understanding your retailer and their unique shopper needs, you’ll create the product strategy identifiable with the brand, customer and channel. Leading by example you’ll develop your team, translating the customers overall vision and strategy into a product framework their feeds their unique range architecture for the coming 12-24 months. You’ll also be responsible for:

  • 1500 SKU’s and driving upwards of £15 million in sales
  • The product process, leading a defined segment from insight to strategy through to market launch and the product lifecycle management thereafter
  • Supporting & creating of compelling, consumer focused breakthrough product that aligns to the organisation and customer strategies
  • Understanding the retailer and shopper needs to create appropriate offers for varying demographic, affluence and local needs and differing missions by format
  • Bring innovation to market and constantly look for new and different ways to exceed the expectations of our customers and shoppers
  • Work closely with colleagues across Category, Trading, Creative and Operations to gather insight, analyse and interpret data, and define the product vision to meet those insights and deliver product to market on time, and to financial targets

A strategic thinker, who is well versed in using consumer insight to shape product solutions and strategy, you:

  • Have a proven track record of excellent design development, understanding of creative trends, and market awareness
  • Are commercially aware, always finding opportunities to drive the business
  • Have experience in a similar role with accountability for NPD, PLM and turning insight into commercial product solutions
  • You have experience in managing and developing individuals and high performing teams
  • Naturally collaborate with others, understanding their priorities to strengthen engagement and buy in
  • Have an infectious drive for success, a can do attitude & passion for your products
