Medical Representative - Dermatology and Podiatry Norfolk and Cambridgeshire Highly Competitive Salary Founded in 1922, our Client is one of the largest OTC pharmaceutical manufacturers in the UK and exports to over 80 countries worldwide. From a UK base they develop, manufacture and supply a wide and growing range of branded OTC medicines, dermatological preparations, niche generic medicines and other pharmaceutical, healthcare and hygiene products. The main purpose of this job is to sell our clients primary care portfolio and achieve targets within specific territories for those specific brands. You will be expected to prepare and deliver territory and account plans with objectives that have been assigned by the regional business manager - who you will be reporting into. You should be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team to analyse sales data and monitor performance in line with the business plan which has been developed by yourself and the business manager. Working within your own promotional budget you should be able to manage and monitor spend against budgets. You should be able to communicate effectively with different members of staff within the NHS and your team. You will be required to attend and contribute to meetings and conferences. The successful candidate will have their sales monitored against targets and will be expected to meet their KPIs as set by their regional business manager. This will involve things such as completing business plan objectives, sustaining frequent coverage on target accounts within the area. You will also be able to maintain relevant local NHS knowledge whilst developing and improving product knowledge continuously. This is an exciting area for a determined and driven individual. Our client is willing to take on either a representative who has a bit of experience within the pharmaceutical industry; however, they are not restricting the role to these candidates only. They are also willing to look at a confident and articulate graduate (alongside the experienced applicants) who has demonstrated an excellent work ethic throughout their career thus far and can give examples of their sales experience.
