Maintenance Engineer Purpose My client are looking for the right candidate that is looking to work a double day shift pattern, you will be a 'hands-on' Maintenance Engineer with the ability to apply your previous Engineering background and experience to achieve the very highest levels of plant maintenance on a wide variety of Plant & Equipment. Applicants need to be self-motivated and innovative in their approach to reactive and planned maintenance tasks whilst working to the highest standards of Health & Safety. Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities - Carrying out hands-on repairs in a safe and conscientious manner to all aspects of the production equipment - Prioritise workload to sustain output - Carrying out proactive maintenance activity reporting back on any abnormalities and possible improvements - Carry out Planned Maintenance Tasks - Communicating effectively with a range of groups and individuals at all levels - To develop themselves to a professional standard, and a sound technical understanding of the process - To ensure that all company policies and procedures are complied with - Ensure the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment for all staff. - High level of enthusiasm and personal drive Maintenance Engineer Key Technical/Professional Competencies - Multi skilled with Electrical bias - Fault Finding and rectification of Mechanical and Electrical Plant and equipment - Proven knowledge of Machinery such as Injection Moulding machines, Extrusion Lines, FMCG - Proven knowledge of equipment such as Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Drives, Temperature controls & Vacuum Technology - Able to work individually or as part of a team - Recognised qualification in an Engineering discipline - Knowledge of PLC's and controls Maintenance Engineer - Competitive salary depending on experience - Permanent position
