Data Architect required to join our client based in Edinburgh City Centre. This will be for an initial 6 months with a very high chance of extension. You will be joining a rapidly expanding organisation from the very early stages who are about to undergo a very large transformation.

You will have overall responsibility to direct create and evolve Data strategies, architectures and roadmaps in order to meet my client's current and future IT, and business needs. As it stands my client's data sources are very disparate and they are hoping to define a strategy which can help create a centralised data platform.

You will be leading a huge greenfield development project from the very early stages and should have developed expertise defining data strategies in environments subject to rapid expansion and change.

We are looking for you to drive and define data solutions and to bring new ideas to the table in terms of strategic direction. You will have experience in large scale data platform projects and as such must be able to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of, and background working with, SQL, Data Warehousing, Reporting, ETL and cloud technologies.

Key Skills and Experience:

** Experience defining end to end Data Governance/Architecture

** Strong background in delivering data solutions

** Cloud Technologies - Azure or AWS

** Knowledge of SQL

** Reporting Technologies - Power BI

** Stakeholder Management
