Finance Manager

Arvato has an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our Finance Team.

Are you a natural born leader with drive and determination to succeed? We are searching for a qualified accountant with experience in a senior accounting and management role who will be responsible for communicating financial information to senior management and providing an appropriate review for all management reporting.

This role is dedicated to managing a team of 2 Financial Accountants and a Revenue Manager, supporting the structure in the Finance Team.

You’ll contribute to the team’s success by ensuring the effective performance, development and ongoing motivation of the team to develop and grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initial review of monthly management accounts, group revenue reports, financial reporting, client profitability analysis
  • Assisting the Financial Controller with preparation of UK Board Pack and accompanying narrative
  • Provision of a high standard of accounting operations and control
  • Oversight of various month end reporting templates & packages (via Magnitude/SAP reporting package) to various Group companies
  • Collation of annual ad-hoc packs to Germany (IT-Budget)
  • Pro-actively contribute to decision support and analysis
  • Budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting and analysis
  • Participation in Finance Projects, from project initiation to go live;
  • Establish strong working relationships with senior management, auditors and other parties as appropriate;
  • To assist with audits, internal and external
  • Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting

Skills & Experience


  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong management skills
  • Knowledge of both UK GAAP (FRS102) and IFRS financial reporting frameworks
  • Ability to deal with tight deadlines and manage team workload efficiently
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to thrive within a fast moving environment with minimum of supervision
  • Analytical and problem solving skills beyond routine questioning
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong awareness of financial control and working within a robust financial structure


  • Ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Approachable, adaptable and self-motivated
  • Prioritise tasks and manage them efficiently and effectively

  • Experience of SAP would be beneficial
