IT Support Analyst

Joules now has a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Analyst to join our IT Team in Corby on a permanent full-time basis. Our IT department delivers Systems Services to all facets of this multichannel business including Retail Stores, Shows, Head Office based in Market Harborough, Distribution Centre and interfaces to the web.

You would be responsible for providing 1st/2nd line technical support to all end users either remotely or via on-site visits and to provide out of hours support as part of a service desk rota. You will support all our keys offices/sites across multiple sites nationally and internationally and support of stores including EPOS and payment machines. You will support 500+ users including desktops, applications, phone systems and day to day IT administration including Active Directory. You will be responsible for installing, removing and upgrading new or existing software and hardware.

Person Specification:

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Experience using the following: Windows 7/10 and Windows Mobile platforms, MS Exchange & Active Directory; Microsoft Office Suites;
  • Mobile devices configuration/support & MDM
  • Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical colleagues and suppliers via face-to-face, telephone, and email interaction
  • Able to work as part of a team to achieve set goals
  • Ability to work flexible working hours (this role is shift based either 8-4 or 9-5pm Monday – Friday; with on-call rota from Friday – Friday 6am – 10pm one week in every five; and some overnight travel is involved with this role)
  • Desirable:

  • Relevant technical and IT experience within a similar Retail environment
  • Apple MAC Environments (OSX) will be an advantage
  • Retail J till systems or other EPOS systems will be an advantage
  • A basic understanding of Networking
