Our client is currently looking for a Finance Manager to join their team, ensuring all financial records are fully maintained and updated ready for audit purpose.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Sales Ledger – Posting customer invoices, posting customer receipts and reconciling sales ledger on a monthly basis
• Purchase Ledger – Posting purchase invoices, issuing payments to suppliers and reconciling purchase ledger on a monthly basis
• Credit Cards and Petty Cash – Collating of monthly credit card and petty cash receipts and posting to Sage
• VAT Returns – Dealing with quarterly VAT returns ensuring VAT rates are applied correctly, and reconciling and submitting VAT returns
• Completing both weekly and monthly payroll
• Maintain accurate CIS schedules
• Other duties include dealing with supplier queries, filing, answering telephone calls and other administration duties as required
• Negotiate and maintain all relevant company insurances
• Maintain and oversee property management records
• Provide effective executive support to the MD
• Banking – Posting all bank transactions including customer receipts, supplier payments, bank transfers, direct debits and standing orders, including monthly bank reconciliations

Candidate Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts Plus
• Great attention to detail, be computer literate with strong numerical skills
• Organised with a methodical approach to record keeping
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
