Position Summary:
• Support Retail Planning team’s reporting process through accurate and timely generation of Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annual and Adhoc reporting within Branch and Space Planning.
• Review weekly trading performance on Key Performance Indicators to identify stock issues / opportunities with emphasis on timely resolution
• Produce analysis to support the implementation of a Divisional Grading, using historical data on key KPIs including Rate of Sale/Density/Sales Patterns
• Support Space Planner with Space analysis, finding opportunities to optimise profit in store base
• Maintaining Topline Weekly Stock Sales Intake (WSSI) reporting
• Communicating and collaborating with various departments across the business as relevantKey Responsibilities:
• Use Business Intelligence tools to generate reports and analyse data as required
• Create and maintain reports in excel (at an intermediate level) involving large data sets
• Ensure streamlined and timely communication across the business
• Support team with required analysis Space/Branch Planning:
• Support Planners with required store analysis; including density, product categories & inventory
• Maintenance of store space audit
• Liaise with Divisional Product Planning teams to support top line roll upsRequirements:
• Strong analytical ability
• Understanding of Branch merchandising principles
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners
• High level of computer literacy, Intermediate/Advanced level excel
• Attention to detail and able to maintain good accuracy levels
• High level of communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrate an ability to prioritize and manage diverse activities simultaneously
• Experience working with retail business systems related to planning / merchandisingDesirable skills and experience:
• Experience using Microstrategy system
• Experience using Enterprise Planning / Arthur Planning
• Experience creating and maintaining a store grading
• An understanding of Space Planning principles
