Pensions Administrator

The Defined Benefit Pension team in Norwich is seeking 2 enthusiastic flexible individuals with excellent organisational and communication skills who ares passionate about delivering first class customer service.

The business provides a full range of administration and support services across a large portfolio of Defined benefit customers.

The role should appeal to individuals who are looking for a challenge and relish working in a mathematical area. You would be working as part of a team delivering a professional service to trustees, members and their advisors. Administration of final salary pension schemes is recognised across the industry as challenging and interesting work, you need to be enthused by dealing with complex and at times manual processes with ever-changing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

    Understand the nature of demand hitting the system.Understand what really matters to the customer.Own demands from start to finish where appropriate, providing confidence for the customer.Protect our customers and Aviva by ensuring your activity prevents fraud and meets legislative requirements.Make decisions in the interests of customers which are properly balanced and reflect fair customer outcomes.Build your knowledge and develop yourself to improve your contribution by pulling support and seeking an expert to explain work you have not done before.Offer support to others to help them learn and solve customer issues, both within the team and sharing knowledge more widely within the end to end flow.Accurately record required data.Understand and interpret measures used within the team to ensure action on the system within the flow.Proactively highlight system conditions that are preventing you from servicing demands, and ensure that you do not create waste.Make suggestions for improvement, and take action where appropriate, based on knowledge and data. Own changes, implementing where you can, pulling in support where needed and escalating where required.Share changes/improvements with area and constructively challenge others suggestions.

    Minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
