I am currently working on behalf of a world-leading Pharmaceutical company who is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join their Biomechanics team in Leeds.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree or will have equivalent experience in the field. Strong analytical skills and experience in analytical testing would be considered an advantage.

As a successful Test Technician, you will be given the opportunity to carry out a range of biomechanical testing activities on instruments intended for use in orthopaedic surgery, from the planning and execution of tests, through analysis of the data, to report compilation and presentation of results to customers. This will give you the opportunity to showcase your advanced skills in report writing, programming, and statistics.

You will furthermore be given the platform to conduct new product development and research testing, including the building and validation of equipment employing electronics, and demonstrate your ability to use CAD in designing one-off fixtures to support lab activities.

Alongside this, you will be entrusted with maintaining laboratory and test equipment by ensuring the equipment is serviceable, through calibration to schedule, servicing and maintenance, and breakdown repairs.

You will also be involved in the development of a mechanism for planning and recording machine usage, covering all activities relating to work tasks, calibration and maintenance.

As a successful candidate, your strong communication and presentation skills, together with your ability to work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, will lay the foundations for you to thrive in this role. You will be working for a company which is built upon its exceptional working culture and strong employee values, and will be joining a successful team of skilled and dedicated professionals in a dynamic working environment.

This will be a 12 month contract role initially and will be based in Leeds, Yorkshire.

Also commutable from Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield, and York.
